Rousseaux-Batteux Blanc de Noirs

The Rousseaux-Batteux Blanc de Noirs is a distinguished Grand Cru Champagne made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the prestigious Montagne de Reims region, renowned for its powerful and mineral-rich wines.

This Champagne is produced by Rousseaux-Batteux, a fourth-generation winemaker, using grapes from the Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Verzy, and Louvois. Committed to sustainable viticulture, the vineyards are maintained without the use of chemicals, placing a strong emphasis on soil health. 

The wine is vinified and aged in neutral oak barrels, which adds complexity while allowing the fruit's character to shine through. An Extra Brut, with a low dosage of under 3-5.5 g/L, resulting in a Champagne that is dry, fresh, and precise.

The tasting profile is marked by notes of red berries, orchard fruits, candied citrus, brioche, and a distinct chalky minerality. This limited-production Champagne is highly praised for its balance of richness and vibrant acidity, providing a true reflection of its Grand Cru terroir.
