Yamagata Masamune Usunigori Kibune

Our favourite Nigori, a very serious sake with a fun twist. A Junmai ginjo made with their own Dewa San San grown by the brewery and pressed with their original wooden press. The Fune (wooden boat for pressing) is less efficient but gentle and gives the sake a lovely texture and softness. 

The perfect amount of rice lees comes from the canvas bags that they use for pressing, giving just the right amount of cloudiness. Asian pear, Fuji apple, drink with light summer dishes.
